A bumpy road

Hi all. My apologies for being MIA in the past 2 weeks. Just as the spring break-up turns some of the country roads into potholed messes, the past 2 weeks of my life has been a bumpy road.

I am not going to get into the details too much, other than to say it started out quite innocent with elective surgery on April 1st and unraveled a few days later into a health affair filled with twists, turns and challenges at each step.

The good news is that I appear to be finally on the mend. My status since late last week went from waiting for the weather to clear enough in both Rochester MN and Houghton MI to allow me to be airlifted down to the Mayo. To being cautiously released to go home with a visit to the Mayo still in the cards, but as an outpatient.

My main issues right now are some pain and severe fatigue, so I will be laying low for the time being and let my body rest and recover.

The promise of some big and exciting news is still there, but I will wait to feel better to fill you all in on that.

So like the patient wait for the roads up here to get past the spring thaw, I too will be waiting patiently for my own road to smooth out.

Good night from the Keweenaw..
